2005 Saturday April 16th 8.00 pm : "Observing the Gas Giants Jupiter and Saturn" with Wessex Astronomical Society
Join members of Wessex Astro Society for an evening's observing
of the planets. Saturn is one of the most beautiful of celestial bodies
to view through a telescope and is well placed for viewing at the
moment, togetherwith Jupiter and the first quarter Moon. Viewing through large telescopes in a domed
observatory together with other telescopes provided by members of
W.A.S.
You are invited to join members of Wessex
Astronomical Society at Worth Hill Observatory, Seacombe House, Worth
Matravers, Swanage,
Dorset, BH19 3LF at these
events. Viewing through large telescopes in a domed observatory in
conjunction with several other portable instruments.
Ample car parking in adjoining field (provided not too wet!).
